Grab that Cab, Cyprus taxi - Your Airport Transfer questions answered

All of our drivers are qualified, licensed taxi drivers - having passed a stiff government test. They all have excellent local knowledge.

Each one has been specifically selected by GTC (GrabThatCab) because of our personal knowledge of their high standards of spoken English and their professionalism as drivers. We welcome all feedback to help us ensure that we maintain the high standard of all our drivers.

Look out for our driver holding a clipboard with the GTC logo and your name and flight number. Introduce yourself - away you go.

This is why we ask for your flight number. Our drivers use this to check when your plane is expected to land. They will be waiting for you when you do arrive no matter how bad the delay is and you pay the price we quoted you.

Euros only, please, to the driver at your destination.

By all means, please ask us to make your bookings in advance. We can advise you on where is worth a visit, both local and island wide places of interest. We can arrange a taxi for trips to anywhere on the island, including the areas under Turkish control.

If its a GTC driver - for sure he knows his way around - where the locals go to eat - and where they don't!.

We promise a clean, air conditioned Taxi with an English-speaking driver who will meet you at the airport and take you to your destination for the agreed price and not a cent more.

If you feel a tip is appropriate - that is up to you.

The rules in Cyprus are very strict about this kind of thing. No - its five passengers and your driver could lose his license if he "bends" the law for you.

In the event of an accident you will have invalidated the driver's insurance and the driver may face a €850 fine.

Please don't start your holiday with an argument - respect the law.

For your safety we ask that you wear a seatbelt - the police can fine you if you don't.

If you are travelling with children, we want them to be as safe as they would be in your own car in the UK so we provide Child and Booster seats. Just tell us your requirements on the booking form. We are equally happy for you to bring your own Child or Booster seats.

For a very young baby, we expect that you will bring an Infant/baby carrier as you will use it on the plane.
